More and more transactions on the market constitute transactions between affiliated entities. The prices used between such entities influence the profits and losses generated by those entities, which in turn influences the amount of taxes paid by the taxpayers.
The legislator has regulated the issues concerning prices used between those affiliated entities both in an act and in the relevant executive regulations.
Affiliated entities, between which the value of concluded transactions exceeds proper limits established in the act, are obliged to prepare specialised documentation of transfer prices.
