COPYRIGHT LAW

Main Page > Services to companies > Copyright law
Copyright law is aimed to protect personal and proprietary copyrights. The former are unlimited in time and non-transferable (only their creators are entitled to them). The latter are limited in time and transferable. The law also regulates the fair use of protected works. ZKZ Legal Chamber provides legal assistance in all these issues.

The subject of copyright refers to any expression of creative activity with its individual character, established in any form, regardless of its value, purpose and manner of expression (a composition, work). Only the manner of expression may be protected. Inventions, ideas, procedures, methods and principles of operation and mathematical concepts are not protected. A composition (work) is covered by copyrights from the moment of its establishment, even if its form is still not completed. Its creator - regardless of complying with any formalities - is entitled to the protection.
